Dilworth Paxson’s Michael Gluck Appointed to Task Force by NJ Governor-Elect Mikie Sherrill

PHILADELPHIA (December 1, 2025) – Dilworth Paxson LLP is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael H. Gluck to the Transition Interdisciplinary Advisory Task Force by New Jersey Governor-elect Mikie Sherrill. The Task Force will provide guidance and play a key role in shaping the policy priorities of the incoming Governor-elect’s administration.

“I’m very honored to have been chosen to participate in the Transition Interdisciplinary Advisory Task Force,” said Gluck. “I am excited to work with and provide feedback to our local elected officials on how our state can improve policies to improve higher education, hospital systems, small businesses, and housing and food insecurity.”

Gluck has been a member of Dilworth’s Corporate, Government, and Healthcare practices for over 34 years and is a founding partner of Dilworth’s Monmouth County, New Jersey office in Freehold.  He began his legal career as an Assistant Counsel to Governor Thomas H. Kean, where he drafted legislation and executive orders, and later served as Appointments Counsel and the Governor’s legislative representative to the New Jersey General Assembly.

Throughout his distinguished career, Gluck has held numerous public service roles, including commissioner of the NJ Sports & Exposition Authority, Commissioner of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, and General Counsel to the New Jersey Highway Authority. He also served as a board member of the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen for over 25 years.

“The firm is very proud of Michael for carrying on a long-standing tradition of donating time to public service,” said Dilworth chairman, Lawrence G. McMichael. “This tradition is a pillar of the firm’s culture, and Michael is the latest example of our lawyers stepping up for the public good.”

Dilworth has three offices and approximately 40 lawyers in New Jersey under the leadership of New Jersey managing partner Mark Schiavo. The firm’s New Jersey lawyers are well regarded for advising clients in Public Finance, Corporate, Government, Litigation, Trust & Estates, and Tax.
