ALERT: The Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) – An Update

Referencing our alert, “The Corporate Transparency Act (CTA): What Your Business Needs to Know for 2024”, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) began accepting beneficial ownership information reports on January 2, 2024.  The BOI-E Filing System can be found on the FinCEN website at BOI E-FILING (fincen.gov).  More information on the filing process can be found at Beneficial Ownership Information Reporting | FinCEN.gov.
