Three Dilworth Paxson Attorneys Elected to Contract Partner

Based in Cherry Hill, N.J., Ujala Aftab is a civil litigation attorney with more than a decade of experience representing various clients, including major banks, financial institutions, and a Fortune 500 company in complex commercial litigation matters. Her practice encompasses a broad range of commercial matters, including commercial enforcement matters, contract disputes between corporations, and construction contract disputes. Ujala has also secured favorable outcomes in all aspects of litigation, with a focus on mediating and negotiating matters to achieve a fair outcome for clients. She also serves as a Trustee of the New Jersey IOLTA Fund, reflecting her commitment to the legal community and access to justice.
Based in Freehold, N.J., John M. Glynn, Jr. focuses on municipal law, litigation, and zoning and land use matters. He brings experience from his prior role as a State Budget Specialist with the New Jersey Office of Management and Budget, where he oversaw fiscal operations and provided analysis of proposed legislation. John also previously represented Social Security Disability claimants in administrative hearings before the Social Security Administration.
Based in Philadelphia, P.A., Maggie Spitzer Persico represents public and private-sector employers in a wide range of employment and labor law matters. Her practice focuses on advising clients on workplace compliance, personnel decisions, and risk management, including issues involving wrongful termination, discrimination and protected class claims, wage and hour disputes, and employment contract matters. Maggie regularly counsels employers on workplace policies, investigations, and disciplinary actions, and represents clients in employment-related litigation in state and federal courts as well as mediation and other alternative dispute resolution forums. In addition to her employment practice, Maggie has experience advising employers on labor relations issues. She has assisted with collective bargaining negotiations, the administration of collective bargaining agreements, and the resolution of workplace disputes through the grievance and arbitration process. Maggie also counsels clients on navigating the intersection between political activity and the law, including compliance with campaign finance and ethics requirements. Maggie served in the administration of President Barack Obama as the Economics and Justice Director in the Office of Presidential Personnel at the White House, where she vetted prospective Presidential nominees for executive, judicial, and independent agency positions. Before that, she served as a member of Congressman Patrick J. Murphy’s senior staff in both Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania. Maggie is a graduate of Temple University Beasley School of Law, where she served as Research Editor of the Temple International & Comparative Law Journal. She earned her undergraduate degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University.
