Four Attorneys Promoted Within Dilworth Partnership

February 25, 2019 (Philadelphia, PA) – Dilworth Paxson LLP is pleased to announce that partner Edward “Ted” F. Behm, Jr.  has been promoted within the partnership ranks of the Firm, while attorneys Stephanie Searles VogelBenjamin W. Spang, and Ira N. Glauber were elevated to Partners.

Ted F. Behm, Jr. is Chair of the Firm’s Patent practice group and has substantial experience in all aspects of intellectual property practice, including the preparation and prosecution of domestic and foreign patents, trademarks, and copyrights; the litigation of patent, trademark, trade dress, trade secret, copyright, domain name, and contractual matters; and the counseling of clients in intellectual property opinion, transactional, and capitalization and acquisition matters. In addition, he has significant experience in representing clients in reexamination, reissue, and Inter Partes Review proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Ted also counsels both established and start-up companies in all phases of intellectual property-related transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, IP valuations, and fundraising strategies.

Stephanie Searles Vogel is an attorney in the Firm’s Tax, Employee Benefits, and Trusts & Estates practice groups. She represents individuals, small and large businesses, and tax-exempt entities in a broad range of tax areas, including tax planning, trusts, and estates, employee benefits issues, as well as charity and foundation governance issues.

Prior to joining Dilworth, she served as a Senior Associate and an Experienced Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Philadelphia, where she worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions tax group with large, multinational, corporate clients. Her legal pro bono experience includes working on various tax law cases for low-income clients and also preparing Pennsylvania and federal tax returns. She has worked on cases with Philadelphia VIP, PVLA, and Pennsylvania SeniorLAW Helpline.

Benjamin W. Spang is a skilled and experienced litigation and trial attorney. He practices in both State and Federal Courts throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey and focuses his practice in the areas of commercial, construction, and financial services litigation.

Ben handles a wide range of construction matters spanning the spectrum of public, commercial, and residential. He has experience litigating claims in connection with the design, development, and construction of various projects throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania, including construction defect cases, design errors, delay claims, construction and mechanics lien enforcement and defense as well as insurance coverage litigation. 

Ira N. Glauber is a commercial trial attorney with more than 35 years of litigation experience trying civil cases involving business disputes. He has litigated a wide variety of commercial disputes ranging from matters involving breach of contract, fraud, real estate, partnership and joint venture agreements, unpaid loans, securities, and employee matters in both state and federal courts in New York and New Jersey. Ira has also represented the nation’s largest securities firms in actions to enforce judgments and in numerous arbitrations under the auspices of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and the New York Stock Exchange.
