Dilworth Paxson’s Shoshana Silverstein Recognized in Law360’s 2026 Rising Stars

Silverstein is an associate in Dilworth’s Litigation, Criminal Law and Investigations, and Appellate Strategy and Advocacy practice. She focuses her practice on litigation and advisory matters involving investigations, post-conviction proceedings and complex legal analysis. She draws on extensive experience reviewing sensitive records, litigating evidentiary hearings and briefing appeals to help clients navigate challenging legal issues and assess risk with confidence.

Before joining Dilworth Paxson, Silverstein served as an assistant district attorney in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, including in the Conviction Integrity Unit, Federal Litigation Unit and Post-Conviction Relief Act Unit. During her tenure, she reviewed extensive records, litigated evidentiary hearings and appeals, and addressed novel legal issues in high-profile and sensitive matters. She has litigated state and federal evidentiary hearings, drafted appellate briefs and argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
