Dilworth Paxson Elects Two New Partners

Philadelphia, PA (January 20, 2016) – Dilworth Paxson LLP is pleased to announce that Dimple C. Patel and Jordan M. Rand have been elevated to the partnership. Dimple C. Patel has focused her practice on representing the interests of commercial real estate lenders and loan servicers. She has extensive experience in connection with high-value, complex, structured-loan transactions with particularly nuanced experience in a wide range of real estate transactions, including, but not limited to, loan assumptions, defeasances, condemnations, full and partial releases of mortgages, and easements. She also routinely works with multiple commercial real estate loan servicers and Real Estate Mortgage Investment Conduit administrators in hammering out the fine details of particularly opaque loan servicing transactions. Dimple earned her J.D. from Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law and her B.A. from New York University. She is based in the firm’s Philadelphia office.

Jordan M. Rand focuses his practice on a variety of insurance coverage matters, including litigating declaratory judgment actions, drafting coverage opinions, and counseling carriers that have provided defenses under reservations of rights. He has notable depth of experience with regards to cyber liability and electronic data security coverage matters within the cyber insurance sphere. Jordan also serves as a consultant for litigation matters, including, but not limited to, lease disputes, real estate transaction disputes, and premises liability defense for some of the largest commercial and retail property owners in the nation. Jordan earned his J.D., with highest honors, from Rutgers School of Law – Camden; M.S. of Teaching from Pace University; and B.A., with highest honors, from Emory University. He is based in the firm’s Philadelphia office.
