Dilworth Paxson Attorneys to Present at Rehabilitation and Community Providers Association’s State Wide Conference

Dilworth Paxson Attorneys Renee Martin and Linda Dale Hoffa will be presenting at the Rehabilitation and Community Providers Association’s (RCPA) state-wide conference in Hersey, PA on Thursday, September 29. Renee’s presentation, “Reimbursement and Telemental Health: Availability, Evolving Opportunities, and Coverage”, focuses on the legal requirements governing the provision of telemedicine and telemental health services under Medicare and Pennsylvania Medicaid.

This session will take place on Thursday, September 29 from 8:30 AM  – 10:00 AM at the Hershey Lodge located at 325 University Dr in Hershey, Pennsylvania. For registration and additional conference details, please visit: http://www.rcpaconference.org/registration//

Renee will also partner with Linda for a separate session immediately following hers. The title of their joint presentation is: “When the US Attorney’s Office Comes Knocking, What’s a Provider To Do?”. Providers accepting Medicare and Medicaid payments are coming under heightened scrutiny by federal law enforcement. This presentation gives an inside look at how federal law enforcement views these cases and conducts their investigations and will show how companies can best protect themselves. This session will provide one-of-a-kind insight into the mind of a US attorney when determining to impose corporate criminal liability, which is interpreted extremely broadly.

This workshop will take place from 10:15 AM – to 11:45 AM on Thursday, September 29 at the Hershey Lodge. For registration and additional conference details, please visit: http://www.rcpaconference.org/registration//

RCPA is the only Pennsylvania membership organization comprised of providers rendering services to mental health, substance abuse, and brain-injured patients.
