Dilworth Partner Appointed as Disciplinary Board Hearing Committee Member

Dilworth Paxson partner Gregory F. Cirillo has been appointed to serve a three-year term as a Hearing Committee Member serving on the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, effective July 1, 2013.

The Disciplinary Board is an independent agency funded by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. The Board assists the Supreme Court in carrying out its exclusive jurisdiction over the licensing and discipline of attorneys in Pennsylvania. Its members meet regularly to decide cases, policies, and board administrative matters.

“I am honored to be appointed,” said Greg Cirillo. “All of the members take their responsibility to the Supreme Court, Pennsylvania attorneys and the public very seriously, and I will work hard to match their level of dedicated service.”

Cirillo is a partner in the litigation department of Dilworth Paxson. He focuses his practice on plaintiff and defense tort litigation as well as general complex commercial litigation. For the past 27 years, he has dedicated a significant portion of his practice to working on governmental and sovereign immunity issues in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Cirillo has served on the firm’s executive committee since 2001.
