Excerpt: “Legal marijuana is currently a $9.2 billion industry. Market analysts predict that amount will balloon to $47.3 billion by 2028. Business is booming, thanks to the legalization of medical marijuana in 30 states and the District of Columbia and the legaliza­tion of recreational marijuana in nine states and the District of Columbia. On March 23 of this year, Governor Phil Murphy substantially expanded New Jersey’s medical marijuana law. With each state election and public referen­dum, more states seem to be embracing the legal marijuana trend.”
