Dilworth’s Harold Cohen to Moderate Burlington County Bar Association CLE Program on November 9

Harold Cohen, a Dilworth Paxson Partner and Co-Chair of the Banking and Financial Services Group, will be a moderator of a Burlington County Bar Association CLE program titled “Fraudulent Transfers: The Intersection of Property Rights & Creditors’ Rights” on Thursday, November 9 from 4:30 – 6:45 PM.

Harold will be joined by attorneys Joseph A. McCormick, Jr. of Law Office of Joseph A. McCormick, Jr.; Steven R. Neuner of Neuner & Ventura; and William G. Wright of Capehart Scatchard LLP.

Topics to be covered:

  • Fraudulent Transfers under NJ State Law and the Bankruptcy Code
  • The badges identifying Fraudulent Transfers
  • Avoiding the creation of Fraudulent Transfers and avoidance actions to undo them
  • Fraudulent Transfers lurking in matrimonial agreements, charitable contributions, gifts, asset protection trusts, titling business ownership, investments, and other assets in the name of a spouse or other third party
  • A lawyers liability for assisting a client to create a Fraudulent Transfer

The program will be held on the 3rd floor in Courtroom 2 of the County Office Building, 49 Rancocas Road, Mount Holly, New Jersey and offers 2.4 New Jersey CLE credits.
