Dilworth Paxson’s Jennifer Platzkere Snyder Elected Fellow of The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers 2017

July 5, 2017 (Philadelphia, PA) – Dilworth Paxson LLP is pleased to announce that Jennifer Platzkere Snyder, a partner in the firm, has been elected as a Fellow of The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. The College is a non-profit professional association—established in 1995 in Annapolis, Maryland, through an initiative of the Council of The Section of Labor and Employment Law of the American Bar Association—honoring the leading lawyers nationwide in the practice of labor and employment law. The twenty-second installation of Fellows will be held November 11, 2017 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C.

Fellows are recognized as members of the labor and employment community who promote achievement, advancement, and excellence in the practice by setting standards of professionalism and civility, sharing their experience and knowledge, and acting as a resource for academia, the government, the judiciary, and the community at large. All Fellows of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers have practiced labor and employment law for at least 20 years.

Ms. Snyder represents public and private sector employers in addressing all aspects of labor and employment law, including traditional labor-management relations, employment discrimination, sexual harassment, restrictive covenants, and trade secret disputes, whistleblowing, executive employment agreements, wage and hour audits, personnel policies, reductions-in-force, and employee discipline and discharge matters. She provides practical guidance to employers on avoiding litigation risks where possible and aggressively litigates disputes before federal and state courts, administrative agencies, and arbitrators.

She is Program Chair (Management), American Bar Association, Section of Labor & Employment Law, Committee on Practice & Procedure Under the NLRA; Vice-Chair, American Bar Association, Section of Labor & Employment Law, Revenue Committee; Committee Member, American Bar Association, Section of Labor & Employment Law, Social Media Committee; and serves as Editor-In-Chief of The Philadelphia Lawyer, a quarterly magazine of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
