Dilworth Paxson Honors MLK Jr. Day of Service

The law firm of Dilworth Paxson continued the firm’s tradition of community involvement by participating in its annual day of service in support of its MLK Jr. Day of Service initiative. Organized by the firm’s Diversity Committee, the day of service celebrates the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his commitment to service.

As part of this year’s initiative, more than 30 Dilworth attorneys and staff prepared meals at the Cathedral Kitchen in Camden, NJ.

For over three decades, the Cathedral Kitchen has been serving meals to the poor and hungry of Camden. Today, the Cathedral Kitchen is the largest emergency food provider in the city.

In the weeks leading up the MLK Jr. Day, the firm also held a food and clothing drive in each of the firm’s offices. Today, the food and clothing was distributed among local agencies in Philadelphia, southern New Jersey, and Washington, DC.
