Dilworth Paxson Co-Managing Partner Kristen Behrens Named a 2026 Philadelphia Business Journal Women of Influence Honoree
PHILADELPHIA (Aug. 4, 2026) — Dilworth Paxson LLP is pleased to announce that Kristen Behrens has been recognized as a 2026 Women of Influence honoree by the Philadelphia Business Journal. Behrens is among 26 business leaders selected from nearly 200 nominations for their leadership, professional achievements and impact on the Greater Philadelphia business community.
As Co-Managing Partner, a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, and Co-Chair of Dilworth’s Trusts & Estates and Tax Practice, Behrens has helped shape the firm’s strategic direction while building one of the region’s leading trusts and estates practices. She made history in 2023 when she became Dilworth’s first female Co-Managing Partner in the firm’s more than 90-year history.
“Kristen’s leadership has strengthened every part of our firm, from our client relationships and strategic growth to the culture we are building for the next generation of attorneys,” said Patrick Northen, co-managing partner of Dilworth Paxson. “She leads with integrity, vision and an unwavering commitment to excellence, and this recognition reflects the tremendous impact she continues to have on our clients, our colleagues and the broader Philadelphia business community.”
In addition to helping lead a firm of more than 120 attorneys across the Mid-Atlantic region, Behrens maintains an active national Trusts and Estates practice advising individuals, families, fiduciaries and financial institutions on sophisticated wealth transfer, estate planning and fiduciary matters. She is also a nationally recognized speaker and educator on trusts and estates issues.
Beyond her legal practice, Behrens is deeply committed to developing future leaders and serving the community. She serves on the Board of Advisors for Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law, the Board of the American Red Cross Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter, and is an active member of The Forum of Executive Women. She also volunteers as a coach for girls’ youth soccer and basketball, mentoring young women in athletics and leadership.
The Philadelphia Business Journal‘s Women of Influence Awards recognize women who are making a significant impact across the region through their leadership, professional accomplishments and community involvement. Honorees will be celebrated at an awards event on Oct. 15 and will be featured in a special publication on Oct. 16.
