Dilworth Paxson Attorneys Patrick Harrington and Dean Shauger to Provide Legal Advice for Wharton MBA Negotiation Class

Dilworth’s Patrick Harrington and Dean Shauger of the Firm’s Litigation Department will participate in a two-day negotiation course at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania on Tuesday, October 31 and Thursday, November 2.

Eric Max, Esq., a negotiation lecturer in Wharton’s Legal Studies & Business Ethics Department, facilitates a negotiation exercise each semester where Wharton MBA students are assigned to a practicing attorney for legal advice in a mock settlement negotiation. The students are graded on how well they do in either deciding to settle in negotiation or going before an arbitrator if a settlement is not reached.

With a particular interest in emerging technology and connectivity solutions, Harrington’s experience comprises a broad range of legal practices including insurance, contract disputes, regulatory guidance, and employer liability. He has been involved in arbitration and litigation matters throughout the country on both the trial and appellate levels.

Shauger represents clients in both the public and private sectors in a variety of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes and labor and employment issues.
