Dilworth Names New Managing Partner

Dilworth Paxson LLP announced the appointment of Mark Schiavo as managing partner of its Cherry Hill office.

“I am delighted that the firm has chosen Mark as the leader of our Cherry Hill office. Mark is a member of the firm’s executive committee and already has substantial experience in firm management,” said Dilworth Chairman Larry McMichael. “He shares my commitment to modest firm growth, while maintaining Dilworth’s reputation for legal excellence. Mark has strong leadership skills and I look forward to continuing to work with him.”

A partner in the firm’s Litigation Group, Mark focuses his practice on construction issues, breach of contract, Uniform Commercial Code, creditor’s rights/loan workout, business torts, and insurance coverage disputes. Mark also represents corporate clients, advising on litigation risk, contract interpretation and enforcements, employment issues and policies, and operational issues. Mark joined Dilworth in 2004 and has served on the firm’s Executive Committee since 2018.

“I am honored that my partners have entrusted me with the leadership of such a vital office,” said Mark Schiavo. “I look forward to continuing its long and rich history of fine counseling and advocacy.”

Since opening the Cherry Hill office in 1995, Dilworth has served clients across a broad range of practices and industries, including real estate, banking, bankruptcy, employment, tax, trusts and estates, and litigation.
