Overview

Roy S. Ross has handled all aspects of estate planning and estate and trust administration matters for over 30 years. His practice primarily involves working with individuals and families to craft comprehensive estate planning solutions to meet the tax and non-tax goals of his clients. These goals take into consideration all aspects of family concerns, tax aspects relating to inheritance, estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer taxes, financial planning, charitable giving, and other unique considerations. Roy’s clients particularly seek him out for counseling on complex family dynamics. Roy also works with other advisors of his clients to provide an integrated approach for his clients’ estate plan.

When representing executors of decedent’s estates, Roy’s clients rely upon him to guide them through the Pennsylvania probate and estate administration process, including the valuation of assets, addressing issues under applicable tax returns and handling the distribution of assets to, or for the benefit, of beneficiaries.

Roy counsels clients, including individual and corporate trustees and beneficiaries, in all aspects of trust administration. This includes the creation of trusts, as well as the modification and termination of trusts by preparing non-judicial settlement agreements. Roy also represents his clients in court proceedings.
