Giavanna Litz is an associate in the Litigation Department. She assists senior attorneys with matters that require detailed research, careful drafting, and thorough preparation. Giavanna is recognized for her ability to approach complex disputes methodically and contribute to the team’s ability to address litigation efficiently.
Giavanna developed her interest in advocacy and litigation while attending Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where she served as Director of External Competitions for the Moot Court Board and president of the Middle Eastern Law Students Association. Her work in these roles sharpened her skills in legal research, writing, and building consensus across diverse groups.
Her judicial externship with the Pennsylvania Superior Court gave her experience reviewing case records, drafting memoranda, and analyzing trial court decisions. In the Villanova Law Health Law Clinic, she gained exposure to advocacy through interviewing clients, preparing exhibits, and drafting courtroom materials. Giavanna was honored with the Clinical Legal Education Association Award at graduation, reflecting her commitment to combining technical ability with meaningful advocacy.
