Jennifer L. Maleski is experienced in insolvency and restructuring, as well as commercial and general litigation, with a particular focus on bankruptcy matters. She has represented debtors, financial institutions, trade creditors, landlords and trustees in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 proceedings, as well as in out-of-court restructurings and commercial workouts. Jennifer also represents financial institutions in collection and enforcement matters, including obtaining judgments, foreclosing collateral and negotiating and documenting loan modifications and settlements. Her experience representing clients on all sides of the restructuring process gives her a comprehensive and balanced perspective.

  • Represented Lehigh Coal and Navigation Company in a liquidating Chapter 11 bankruptcy and successfully negotiated a cooperative and structured liquidation, distribution of remaining estate assets and dismissal of the case with numerous constituents.
  • Represented Chapter 7 trustees in numerous bankruptcy proceedings in the Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, including estate administration and litigation involving collection actions, avoidance claims and D&O matters.
