March 5, 2019 (Philadelphia, PA) – Dilworth Paxson LLP announced today the addition of partner Victoria Reider to the firm’s Banking and Financial Services and Corporate and Business Development practice groups working in its Harrisburg and Philadelphia offices.
Reider comes to Dilworth with more than thirty years of regulatory and government experience in banking and insurance. For thirteen years, she served with the Pennsylvania Department of Banking as the Executive Deputy Secretary and Chief Operating Officer, and as the acting Secretary of Banking and Chief Counsel. She also has served as the Chief Counsel of the Pennsylvania Insurance Department and General Counsel of a national insurance firm.

Reider’s expertise in navigating the regulatory and business issues in banking, consumer services, insurance and compliance complement and enhance Dilworth’s dynamic reputation as a full-service law firm.
She’s also actively served on the Board of Directors of the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS), the nation-wide state regulatory system of financial supervision, and as Chairman of its Education Foundation developing programs for bank examination. She also has served as the Pennsylvania securities administrator with the North American Securities Administrators Association following the Banking Department’s merger with the Pennsylvania Securities Commission, and received NASAA’s meritorious service award for securities regulation and investor protection.
Reider earned her J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law, and her BA from Mercyhurst University. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
