Eric B. Meyer Speaks at Association of Contingency Planners Fourth Annual Symposium

November 12, 2009Eric B. Meyer, member of Dilworth Paxson’s Labor and Employment Group, was a panel member for the Association of Contingency Planners Fourth Annual Symposium Expert Panel discussion.

The theme for Meyer’s panel discussion, “H1N1 Now,” focused on the current outbreak of the H1N1 virus (more commonly known as swine flu) and practices that employers should consider to prevent H1N1 from becoming a threat to the workplace.

Meyer dedicates his practice to litigating and providing counsel to employers on labor and employment issues affecting the workplace, including collective bargaining, discrimination, employee handbook policies, enforcement of restrictive covenants, H1N1 preparedness, social networking policies, and trade secret protection. Meyer frequently trains both management and their employees on workplace harassment issues. Additionally, Meyer often serves as both a volunteer mediator for the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and an arbitrator in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
