Dilworth Partner Elected As Fellow Of The Philadelphia College Of Physicians
Dilworth Paxson is proud to announce that its Managing Partner, Stephen J. Harmelin, Esq. was recently elected as a Fellow of the Philadelphia College of Physicians. The vast majority of the Fellows of the College are renowned physicians, and the election of an attorney is an uncommon recognition.
Mr. Harmelin has over 35 years of experience in corporate law and business representations that focus on advising Boards of Directors of public and privately-held companies, financial transactions, mergers, acquisitions, governmental, and non-profit governance issues.
Mr. Harmelin has been consistently chosen by a survey of his fellow lawyers to be listed in the publication, The Best Lawyers in America and frequently lectures on law firm management, corporate reorganizations and other financial transactions. Mr. Harmelin served as a White House Aide in the Administration of President Lyndon B. Johnson and for three years also served as Chairman of the Board of a New York Stock Exchange-listed company, Publicker Industries, Inc. In addition, he serves on the Board of numerous privately-held companies, including The Kluge Estate Winery and Vineyard, and served as an executive and Chairman of Confab Inc., one of the Philadelphia area's largest employers.
