Mr. Goldschmidt, who chairs both Dilworth's Intellectual Property Group and the board of the International Visitors Council, discussed U.S. patent law reform and described the move toward international convergence concerning the protection of intellectual property.

Mr. Laigaie, who Chairs Dilworth's Corporate Investigations and White Collar Crime Department, detailed the Federal Criminal Justice System.

The State Department invited the dignitaries as part of its International Visitors Leadership Program which attempts to build bridges between the United States and foreign leaders. The visitors toured various cities throughout the country during their stay in an effort to learn more about the U.S. judicial system.
