Richard Fox Presents At Annual Insurance ConferenceDilworth Paxson Partner Richard L. Fox recently spoke at Penn Mutual's 13th Annual Premier School on the "Philanthropic Landscape: Trends & Giving Vehicles." In his presentation, Mr. Fox addressed a host of charitable planning issues, techniques, and trends, including the use of private foundations, donor-advised funds, charitable remainder trusts and charitable lead trusts. Included in his presentation were various planning strategies to further one's philanthropy, which at the same time reduce income, gift and estate taxes. Mr. Fox, a Philadelphia resident, is a partner in Dilworths Tax Group where he concentrates his practice in the areas of charitable giving, private foundations, tax-exempt organizations, family planning, and trusts and estates. He is the author of the treatise Charitable Giving and Solicitation, a Warren, Gorham and Lamont publication, writes a national monthly bulletin on charitable giving and nonprofit topics, and writes and speaks frequently on issues pertaining to estate planning and philanthropy. |
