Community Active Attorney Named To Disaster Preparedness Non-Profit Board
Dilworth Paxson Partner Harold G. Cohen, Esq. was recently named as a member of The Safe America Foundation Board of Directors.
The Safe America Foundation is a nonprofit organization that focuses on emerging issues affecting safety and preparedness at home, work, and in recreation. The Foundation is a recognized national leader in disaster preparedness.
In his new role, Mr. Cohen is leading a task force along with fellow board members, Adam Kesselman of GlaxoSmithKline and Bruce Larson of American Water Company, to plan a summit to foster private and public sector coordination of avian flu pandemic preparedness in this region.
For more than three decades, Mr. Cohen, a Voorhees resident and partner in the Cherry Hill, N.J. office of Dilworth Paxson, has counseled business owners and banks on a broad array of legal topics including strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, loan transactions and operational matters. He also maintains an active business litigation practice, including restructuring and workouts of troubled credit facilities
