Construction Attorney Addresses Industry Group

Natalie D'Amora, a member of Dilworth Paxson's Construction Group, recently participated as a panelist in the General Building Contractors Association breakfast meeting addressing "Current Legal Issues Facing the Construction Industry” held in Philadelphia, PA.

In her presentation, Ms. D’Amora outlined how to recognize releases in construction documents such as like change orders and payment applications. She also addressed the legal effect of releases and tips to protect contractors’ rights when faced with releases.

She focuses her practice on construction litigation and counsels clients on delay claims, wrongful termination claims, interference claims, and surety issues.

Ms. D’Amora received her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, cum laude, in 2002 and her B.A. degree in English literature, summa cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh in 2000. She is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania; New Jersey; the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit; and the US District Court for the Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
