Metz, a partner in Dilworth Paxson’s Corporate Investigations and White Collar Group, was recently invited by Judge Scirica to join the Middle District of Pennsylvania's committee to review the reappointment of the Federal Public Defender. Metz will be involved in assessing the quality of representation, level of commitment and service to clients, and administrative efficiency of the federal public defender. The reports that Metz will make on his findings will help determine the reappointment of the Federal Public Defender. Metz is resident in Dilworth's Harrisburg office. He has handled hundreds of federal and state criminal cases as well as grand jury and other investigations, with clients including many political figures, professionals, corporations, and business people. He has tried over fifty cases to verdict before juries and argued before many state and federal courts in Pennsylvania.
