Mark H. Vacha Presents at Council of Development Finance Agencies' Annual Summit

Mark H. Vacha, a partner in the Public Finance Group at Dilworth Paxson LLP, recently presented at the 2009 Annual Summit of the Council of Development Finance Agencies held over three days in Pittsburgh.

Vacha participated in the moderated bond finance panel "Municipal Finance: Industrial Development Bonds & IRS Update." Vacha spoke on recent trends related to the SEC and disclosure and securities regulation in the municipal bond markets, including developments relevant for industrial development bond offerings.

Vacha also authored an article for the Council of Development Finance Agencies titled "Considerations Related to Recent Proposals for A Mutually Owned Municipal Bond Insurer." The article presented a proposal in response to the recent credit market problems facing municipal securities issuers.
