DILWORTH'S KRISTI M. POLING JOINS THE PRINT CENTER BOARD OF GOVERNORS

PHILADELPHIA, June 4, 2009 – Kristi M. Poling of Dilworth Paxson LLP has joined the Print Center’s Board of Governors. The Print Center is a Philadelphia-based nonprofit organization founded in 1915. It works to generate support and appreciation for photography and printmaking as central contemporary art forms. The Print Center offers exhibitions, discussion groups, lectures, panels and workshops throughout the year promoting print-artists and encouraging new interest in all forms of print imaging. The Print Center has also developed the Artists-In-Schools Program, an award-winning outreach system designed to enhance students’ visual arts education in underdeveloped and disadvantaged schools throughout Philadelphia. Beyond becoming a member of the board of the Print Center, Poling has worked as a counselor and community presenter for the nonprofit organization Women Organized Against Rape, and received a Lifetime Membership Award for her efforts. She was also the board secretary of Spiral Q Puppet Theater, an organization which utilizes theater to promote the United States First Amendment rights.
