Dilworth Paxson Attorneys leads the Philadelphia Police Athletic League's Mock Trial Program

PHILADELPHIA - Gino J. Benedetti, Co-Chair of the Labor and Employment Law Group at Dilworth Paxson LLP and a member of the Board of Directors for the Philadelphia Police Athletic League, lead a mock trial program for students of the Philadelphia Police Athletic League.

The Mock Trial Program provides middle school and high school students the opportunity to participate in the judicial process. Eric B. Meyer, an associate in Dilworth's Labor and Employment Law Group, participated as a team coach for the students.

The students participated in practice sessions lead by their lawyer coaches. The Honorable Timothy J. Savage of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania presided over the mock trial held in his honor's courtroom.

"The mock trial program was a rewarding experience for all and a unique opportunity for the Philadelphia lawyers and PAL kids to learn about the law and more from each other," said Benedetti.
