Dilworth Attorney Scott J. Freedman Named Partner

CHERRY HILL, NJ, March 9, 2009 - Dilworth Paxson LLP is pleased to announce that, effective as of the first of the year, Scott J. Freedman was named a partner in the firm.

Freedman is a resident in Dilworth's Cherry Hill office and a member of its bankruptcy and insolvency group. His practice is focused on representing debtors, creditors and lenders in connection with restructuring proceedings. His practice includes advising large trade creditor clients on a national basis as how to effectively evaluate and manage the risks associated with Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases and pursue their rights and remedies in connection within the bankruptcy process such as asserting and seeking payment of pre-petition claims, pursuing rights of reclamation and/or setoff and minimizing exposure with respect to avoidance actions and the plan-confirmation process.

Freedman is a graduate of Lafayette College, and he received his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law - Camden and LL.M in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
