DILWORTH'S SNYDER APPOINTED TO COMMISSION ON JUDICIAL SELECTION AND RETENTION

PHILADELPHIA, February 12, 2009 - Jennifer Platzkere Snyder, a partner at Dilworth Paxson LLP, was appointed as an Investigator in the Investigative Division of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Commission on Judicial Selection and Retention. The Philadelphia Bar Association Chancellor Sadye Ladov appointed Snyder to the position. The Commission helps to set standards for judicial service in Philadelphia's Common Pleas and Municipal Courts and communicates its findings to the public to ensure an informed electorate. Philadelphia Bar Association is America's first chartered metropolitan bar association and Pennsylvania's largest local bar association with 13,000 members. Snyder represents public- and private-sector employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including traditional union-management relations, employment discrimination, non-competition and trade secret disputes, executive employment agreements, wage and hour audits, personnel policies, and employee discipline and discharge matters. In addition to her active involvement with the Philadelphia Bar Association, she is a member of the Executive Committee of the Temple American Inn of Court and the Alumnae Board of the Baldwin School for Girls. |
