Richard N. Hudock Returns to Dilworth Paxson's Business Department

PHILADELPHIA, January 14, 2009 - Richard N. Hudock returned today to Dilworth Paxson LLP as a partner in the firm's Business fDepartment, announced Joseph H. Jacovini, Chairman of the firm. Hudock was previously Corporate Counsel at Safeguard Scientifics, Inc.

In 2001, Hudock left Dilworth and joined Fiberlink Communications Corporation in Blue Bell, PA as Assistant General Counsel.

In his position at Safeguard Scientifics, Hudock was responsible for debt offerings, management buy-outs, recapitalizations, early, middle, and late stage financings, and securities law compliance. Additionally, Hudock has negotiated and drafted licensing and financing agreements and commercial leases and handled intellectual property, labor and employment, and corporate matters for Safeguard Scientifics' partner companies.

At Dilworth, Hudock's practice will focus on corporate governance, finance and restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings and securities law compliance, licensing and intellectual property matters, and other business and commercial matters.
