Dilworth's Shectman And D'Amora Honored By The Homeless Advocacy Project

PHILADELPHIA, January 8, 2009 - The Homeless Advocacy Project recognized Dilworth Paxson LLP's Scott P. Shectman and Natalie D'Amora for their 2008 volunteer work.

Shectman, an associate in the firm's Litigation Department and a member of its Bankruptcy Group, received the Legal Services Recognition Award for his successful representation of a disabled homeless woman seeking social security benefits for a permanent disability.

D'Amora, an associate in Dilworth's Litigation Department, was recognized with the Adopt Coordinators Award. D'Amora was honored for her coordination of Dilworth's bi-monthly sponsorship and participation in the Mercy Clinic and for her successful representation of a disabled homeless woman in obtaining social security benefits for a permanent disability.

Shectman concentrates his practice on commercial litigation with a focus on construction litigation and bankruptcy. His practice includes litigating in federal and state courts, as well as alternative dispute resolution forums, concerning various contractual, lending, and construction related disputes.
