Areas of Focus:

Partner, Litigation Department and Intellectual Property Group. As a partner at Dilworth Paxson, Mr. Wallach concentrates his practice on litigating and procuring patents. His practice also includes opinions, licensing, and counseling on patent, copyright, trademark, trade-secret, and e-commerce issues.

He has represented clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 50 companies, often in high-profile matters. Since drafting and litigating the patent at issue in State Street Bank v. Signature Financial, much of Mr. Wallach's practice has focused on business methods, software, and computer systems. His representations have also included closely watched litigation matters regarding patenting e-commerce systems and copyrighting graphical user interfaces.

Technologies that Mr. Wallach has dealt with include client-server systems, medical devices, NMR spectrometers, vector network analyzers, inkjet cartridges and printers, polymer chemistry, and a variety of software programs and financial products, services, and instruments.
