Areas of Focus:

Partner, Litigation Department and its Bankruptcy Group. Mr. Laskey concentrates his practice in all types of commercial disputes for individuals, closely-held businesses, and publicly-held corporations. He has handled various types of business disputes, including restrictive covenants, rights of first refusal, breach of contract, contested foreclosures, and landlord-tenant disputes.

He represents numerous lenders in foreclosure, replevin, and other enforcement actions, as well as in proceedings in bankruptcy court. He regularly appears in bankruptcy courts throughout New Jersey to represent creditors in bankruptcy cases as well as plaintiffs and defendants in adversary proceedings. He has also handled appeals to the District Court and the Court of Appeals, and has been admitted pro hac vice to appear in bankruptcy cases in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York, Georgia, and Illinois.

Qualified as a Mediator pursuant to New Jersey Court Rule 1:40 and can mediate all types of commercial disputes.
